Middle of the range of salaries earned by graduates in the Education field starting their first ever full-time job after graduating (Diploma) is 46,100 AUD.
Experienced Managers earn from 75,000AUD – 133,000AUD.
Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Supporting and working alongside educators, teachers and Educational Leaders to develop and implement high quality educational programs supporting all areas of child development.
Ensuring and consistently maintaining high quality of care for children in a long-day care setting.
Mentoring and supervising staff in their daily roles providing care and education for children aged 0-5.
Ongoing management of staff including recruitment and staff appraisals.

Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
You are responsible for day to day delivery of a high quality and high functioning ECEC service.
Working in accordance with the requirements of the Children (Education and Care Services National Law Application) Bill 2010, Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard for Early Education and Care.
Developing strong relationships with children and families at the service.
Provide ongoing support and assistance to other staff in all areas of service operation.
Leading all educators towards continuous improvement in all areas of the service’s operations.
Assisting Educators with the preparation of materials and equipment for children’s education and recreational activities.
Supervising children during recreational activities.
Ensuring that all staff are following strict hygiene and supervising children’s hygiene practices.

Responsibilities
The Social Worker is responsible for working in partnership with young people and other professionals in a multi-disciplinary setting by providing therapeutic case work and case management. They will provide support for young people to function independently through building a trusting professional relationship, practical life-skill development and specific therapeutic interventions based on strengthening identity and processing trauma.
Implementing the Next Steps Model in collaboration with the team and partner agencies.
Establishing and developing respectful and transparent and culturally responsive engagement with young people to assess their individual strengths and areas of support need and together form a MALI (Moving to Adult Life and Independence) plan.
Working in partnership with other services, including DCP, health, education, NDIS providers and other community stakeholders to provide a collaborative and holistic approach to strengthening young people’s independence and wellbeing.
Working collaboratively within a Multidisciplinary team and with key stakeholders to enhance quality of service delivery and improve outcomes for young people. This includes taking a lead case management role to ensure case coordination and inclusive practice, and that the voice of young people are represented.
Working with extended family members and other support people (such as former foster or residential carers) to assist young people to strengthen their sense of self, identity and self-determination.
Essential Criteria:
Social Work Degree or equivalent
Knowledge of Child Protection Legislation
Experience working with vulnerable young people with complex needs
Case Management Experience
Sound theoretical knowledge of the impact of childhood trauma
Valid Department for Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check. (previously known as ‘Child-Related Employment Screening Clearance’).
Valid Driver’s Licence.
Ability to undertake some work out of standard work hours when required.
Ability to participate in an on-call roster.
